I have been told by a random medical person that people who low carb need more minerals as they dont retain them.

Does this sound right and, if so, where do i get minerals from?

I cant eat nuts or seeds.

With LCHF your kidneys flush out more waste, so you tend to lose more salt, potassium, and mangesium in your wee. There are plenty of veggies (including those all pervasive essential green ones - our mums knew a thing or two when they insisted that we eat them - at least in the good old days...:D) that have high mineral content, so check Google for lists of high potassium, and magnesium veggies, fruits and other foods too. Many of the foods recommended for LCHF diets actually include them anyway - I was actually surprised originally at how well it actiually caters for most of our essential vitatmins, minerals, etc...

PS Home made bone broth is something else woerht including for mineral content.
