Hi, I had a leaflet from my midwife explaining when pregnant women should take the mini aspirin (75mg) and it said that people with diabetes should take mini aspirin from 12 weeks on to prevent pre-eclampsia.
I have never heard about this before and forgot to ask her to fully explain as I thought I'd be seeing her again before 12 weeks but I haven't.
Is everyone else taking this daily?

Hi, I've been taking it since 8 weeks (I'm now 27 + 4) for the same reason :-) was also worried initially as I'd never heard of it but was reassured by others on here that they were also taking it :-)

I took it from 12 or 13 weeks until just before delivery. I hadn't heard of it either, but my consultant explained it well and referred me to studies.

I took a gastro-resist one as I'd taken aspirin previously and it had upset my stomach.

I've been advised to take it too but I didn't (as I try to take as little medicines as possible). I did not have a pre-eclampsia.
However I kept an eye on myself to indicate any signs of it. Was checking my urine for ketones and my blood pressure every day after 30 weeks of pregnancy.
