Minimed 640g

Hi all, hope youve all had an amazing Christmas and your levels are behaving. I'm getting a medtronic pump (the minimed 640g) on 23rd January. What questions do I need to ask, is anyone else on this pump too and how are you finding it

Hello @blueeyed81 yes me too, love mine, I keep it in a pouch and it's made life a lot easier, you preset all your ratios, takes a few weeks to settle so don't expect miracles straight away, but definately recommend, shout me if you have questions

I think I'm quite lucky with asking about the pump and getting it. I asked about it middle of November, 2 weeks later I was filling the paperwork and choosing a colour .

I think I'll do a blog too or do a video diary

Excellent bit of kit, i also have this pump. You will be taught everything you need to know about your pump with your nurse and company rep. The pump does come with a good printed manual, however prior to getting my pump i downloaded the manual to familiarise myself with it and generate questions prior to being issued it.

It is a game changer, you'll love it.
