Is anyone able to shed some light on the below situation. I can't work out if I'm missing something.

Every time I try and log in I recieve this message 'invalid account type, make a patient account in care link'

Is this telling me that my account isn't a patient one? And I can't make an account in carelink?

Any help appreciatedScreenshot_20231114-183937_MiniMed Mobile.jpg

Which app are you trying to use? If you’re trying to use the app that connects to your pump, it’s called Minimed Mobile on the App Store. Based on the above error, you might be trying to use the Carelink Connect app, which is for caregivers to get access to the data your pump uploads via the Minimed Mobile app. Users for Carelink Connect do have a different account type than your main Carelink account as the pump wearer.

This is what I was thinking. This message comes up when I open the Minimed Mobile app, click through the prompts and try to sign in. (The sign in page it directs me to is Carelink.

From what little I remember of logging in since I haven’t done it for a very long time :hilarious: Did you make sure to select the correct country before signing in? If you select the wrong one I suspect this error would also come up.

Also, are you able to login here - https://carelink.medtronic.eu/login if you can’t login here I would look into contacting Medtronic support.
