Minor Retinopathy Changes.

I went for my screening last week and have just had a letter to say i have minor changes I am hoping now i'm on insulin my BG's etc will be better and help stop any further changes developing, although in the leaflet sent with the letter it states that, insulin treatment is said to be one of the risk factors.

I am also having a lot of problems with my blood pressure and have been undergoing various tests etc. I am due to go to the consultants outpatients clinic on the 22nd so will be taking my letter with me and demanding something more is done about my blood pressure as i know that can cause changes to.

Hi Clair, sorry to hear about your eyes, you seem to be having lots of problems, hopefully your consultant will start to get to the bottom of things and sort your levels out and things will improve for you. Hugs

Thanks Ann Yes, unfortunatly i have been having rather a lot of health problems lately. I should have made it clear in my first post, it's not a diabetic consultant i'm seeing on the 22nd but a general medicine one.
