for those with mitochondrial diabetes, MIDD MELAS standards of care attached.
if you are having stroke like episodes: daily Citrulline/Arginine +TAURINE works well with me along with mito cocktail

RAISE AWARENESS: test for mitochondrial gene mutation mtDNA 3243 a->g.

symptoms: migraines, gestational diabetes, deafness, diabetes, speckled pigment in retina, short stature, cardiomyopathy/tachycardia, SLE (stroke-like-episodes)/seizures, myopathy, exercise intolerance, imbalance, gastrointestinal

Powder bins of free form amino acids from amazon. Lots of vendors. I look for pharmaceutical grade citrulline the label says kyowa trademark.
Taurine dose 4grams per meal. 3x daily.
I prefer citrulline over arginine but both work. Dose same 12grams per day. Max dosage 15 grams per day.
I get L-citrulline or L-arginine. Arginine a bit less expensive.
I mix it into my drink at each meal.

Food that has the most citrulline is the rind of the watermelon.
