Type 1 Mood Swings [emoji53]

Hi ... I’ve been a Type 1 Diabetic since 2002. I’m 43 and have consistently had an HbA1c below 8 for the past 10 years.

Weirdly I’ve noticed the most horrendous mood swings over the past 6 months. No real changes to diet or blood sugar control.

Does anyone have any advise or experienced something similar???

Clearly all Diabetics haven’t ever experienced stress or mood swings

Hi @PaulSeamans I'm T2 so I can't really comment on T1 mood swings. But I just thought I'd drop in and say hello so that you don't feel quite so "Billy no mates!"

I'm type2 too. Lows in my bgs cause my low swing then if I over correct a high swing . Very insulin inj related. Low carb meals keep me steadier but I take huge insulin units. Just under 300units per day. Luckily triple strength basal toujeo300 makes it less painful.
