Mood Swings

Hi, I'm the wife of a Type 2 Diabetic. He's been diagnosed now for about 10 years. My query is; are mood swings associated with diabetes? He can be really stressed, verbally confrontational, rude and cruel. Mostly to me. At first I thought it was me being "sensitive", but now people are pointing it out to me and him.

The simple answer is yes!
Mood swings can be a symptom of a hyper (high blood sugar) or hypo(low blood sugar).
Is he testing?is his meds right for what he is eating?
Control is the key.
