Last night i slept for twelve hours woke up this morning tired and in a really low mood is this normal for people with type 2 diabetes

Depression can be a problem for any person with diabetes or any long term disability.

This time of year, with dull and short days, often makes our moods feel low.
Perhaps taking up a hobby that you enjoy and could indulge in may help.

I find watching too much TV can make me feel tired and low, so I am now making clothes for my grandchildren for Christmas. I have decided to start painting in watercolour again after Christmas.

If you are worried about your moods, you could visit your medical practice and chat to your doctor or Diabetic Nurse, they can ask you questions to find out how low you are, and if need be offer short term medication.

Hi Steve, :)

This also normal with many people, My son who is 27 can have a long sleep then be moody, He does work etc; My daughter wakes up every morning in a mood,

I think this is normal for in Children up to about 36 years of age. ( when living with parents in this economical climate )

However if you had a good sleep that is what should be important.

Your age can make a differance.
