Hi all.
I'm after seeking more advice before I go back to see my Quack later next week.
I was diagnosed with borderline diabetes back in March.
I have now developed other symptoms of which worry me further.
Since then my weight has gone from 63kg to 51kg, without dieting, I'm always very tired, in severe pain, diagnosed as neuropathic pain which is linked to diabetes, blurred vision, frozen shoulder, painful wrist/elbow .. tingling in thumbs and right fore finger. my thirst has become excessive and I pee for England...
I've have 2 steroid injections for my shoulder which have been unsuccessful, hence my appointment with my Quack... my skin has become very dry and itchy .... especially on arms and face ... I scratch till it bleeds .. can't help it, when I get the itch, I have to scratch ..
What I need to know, is do I insist on a referral to a specialist or do I plunder on regardless??
The neuropathic pain effects both legs from the knee down ... Even morphine has failed to cure this pain ... as with most other serious pain killers ... They just send me to cloud fairy land and make me a danger to myself and my work colleagues...
Any advice is appreciated..
