A delightful news item on Radio 3 this morning reported that there are now more choirs than fish'n'chip shops.

The presenter went on to extol the health benefits of singing.
 
Funny. reading this thread has NOT made me want to sing...

Wouldn't say no to a bag of chips, though... :twisted:
 
I'm joining another choir this evening - Hounslow Baroque. I've heard two of their concerts. The items include Purcell's Birthday Ode for Queen Mary - "Come, Come Ye Sons of Art."

I also joined the Facebook "Bagpuss" Group - because I love the music.
