I spoke to the DN yesterday she asked how I was going with the slow release tablet, ( better that the first lot)told her that I had bought a meter, she said that they could have given me one for free, (now she tells me) told her since the last time I had seen her, I had lost just over a stone in weight. she asked me what my reading had been, I have had nothing over 7. she said I have to have anothwer blood test, and if the reading are good she may take me off the tablets or at least knock me down to one a day.
A very happy person tonight...

Well done Coopes! Keep up the good work!! You should take up your DN's offer of a monitor as you may be able to get some strips on prescription - it will save you having to buy them all the time. You are not likely to get as many as you would like but ... they're free :)
