I'd prefer to post this in a more conspicuous part of the forum so that the greatest number of members could see it. Doubtless it would stir-up yet more spurious accusations, so here it will stay.

The cracks in the dogma are getting wider and one day everyone might enjoy rational dietary advice, eh?

All the best everyone,

The diet involved was the 'optimal diet' designed by a Dr. Jan Kwasniewski.
Here is info about the diet in English.
http://homodiet.netfirms.com/
Apparently a person should be an optimal weight calculated by height in cm -100, so a 160cm person has an optimal weight of 60kg. For each kg of optimal weight they should eat 1gm of protein, 2.5-3.5gm fat and .08 gm of carbohydrates. The 160cm person would therefore eat 60gm protein, 150-210gm fat and 30-50gms carbs.

The section on type 1 diabetes is very interesting

Certainly is!
Type 1 diabetes can almost always be cured

I'm hoping that's just a typo, but it's a pretty big one. Otherwise, some interesting stuff. He is however a doctor in engineering, not medicine.

All the best,
