I am T2, taking Metformin and insulin. I have some units before breakfast/lunch/dinner and bedtime. Should I also have some units before 11am coffee and plain bix, also, mid- afternoon cup of ten and another plain bix?

if your having just a coffee or tea with a splash of milk the you wouldn't or shouldn't see a significant change in BG.....
If your having biscuits these will contain carbs and this will effect your BG...........I personally would consider insulin for all carbs....
but, you will need to consider what insulin is on board and what your levels are at prior to the biscuits....
you say you have "some" units before breakfast/lunch/dinner...........is there any calculation behind those doses........?
if not, you wouldn't really know what precise action to take before a snack...
