Morning bg

So I've just started on digludec 8 units as its a 24 hour lasting one in the morning and during the day my levels are fine actually they're to low the last time I checked yesterday they were 3.2 so I ate 1 small roll which had 2 g of sugar and a pasty which only had 3 g of sugar in it but by morning they were 10.9. I just don't understand it.

I have been told I can take the insulin at night. Would that be better in keeping my morning bs down.

Hi @Jlewis12351996 - Can you clarify if you are taking quick acting insulin with food ? Also why are you reading the sugar content, as you need to be reading total carbohydrate value instead ?

No I'm just taking one long acting insulin a day
