Hey all. I've been experiencing high blood sugars in the morning of around 16 I use
levemir in the evening it hasn't always been a problem but more around the last 6 months. My doc had suggested that I may be going low in my sleep. So I stayed up fairly late one night checking regularly and it all seemed to hold steady till around 4am and it just shoots up. I've no idea why. Im really not sure what to try or do

I would check with your DSN if splitting your dose might be suitable for you. I did and it balanced out my readings quite quickly. Again though, check with the medical experts first.

This is where a pump does its magic. This is what happened to me and now on a pump my hourly basal rate changes dramatically from 4am to deal with it.
