I have been Type 2 for past seven years and currently take 3 x850 Metformin with meals. I am struggling with my blood sugar levels first thing in morning ofter between 8 and 9 ,which is higher than when I go to bed .
Once I get moving they normally come down to a more acceptable level . Any advice on getting my overnight blood sugar down would help. Would taking more Metformin with evening meal help ,or trying an ER Metformin or adding another drug. Thanks

I would make an appointment with the Dr..As you may now, it's dawn phenomenon AKA liver dump ...http://www.diabetes.org/living-with...re/blood-glucose-control/dawn-phenomenon.html

you seem to be maxed on metformin..options may be an extra med and/or a lot are having success with LCHF
