Morning readings

Morning all, I was diagnosed type 2 in December and take 4 metformin and one Gliclazide. My initial reading at the docs was 17.4 but tend to be well under 8 now. My morning reading when getting up is around 7-8 and readings in the day between 6-8. Is this ok? Had a hospital appointment this week and she didn’t say much about this. Most people on here tend to be between4.5-6??

That’s a great reduction in a short space of time. Try not to compare yourself to others - we’re all at different stages and with varying medication regimes and our own targets. You might find this helpful:
