Yes, when you are hypo you need to act to get out of it again. By all means recheck with a fingerprick to confirm, but don't go on doing what you were doing when this low before bringing your bg up.Should I take a sugary drink or some chocolate etc..???
You're on insulin and Janumet. This means hypo's can be dangerous!
Please contact your HCP about those hypo's, either your medication or your diet needs adjusting. We're not allowed to give advise on dosing but please take hypo's seriously.
If your Libre reads fairly accurate you've been spending quite some time below 3 today, dangerously close to the point where you could just keel over and become unconscious. Imagine that happening while driving, at the top of the stairs or while frying a steak.

If you are using a freestyle libre, any reading under 4 is suspect. Always follow up with a fingerprick.
Good! Thanks for your advice and I will contact my HCP on Monday morning and in the meantime ensure that it stays in the correct zone.
Thanks
Big difference is that @Robcameron is on insulin and you are on Metformin, if your profile information is correct, and Rob has changed his diet very recently. On metformin your liver is likely to save you from going way too low, on insulin you can just pass out, especially if you don't feel your hypo's.I just checked my freestyle. In the last 90 days I have had 79 low glucose events. Out of those 2 were confirmed hypos. I have just accepted that this is the way I am. It's always overnight, early morning. I no longer go into a panic, but it's too dangerous not to test.
Some Libres tend to overread while others under-read for their fortnight lifespan. I always calibrate in xDrip but I will follow the Libre and keep it in the green too, even if I have to run my blood sugars higher some fortnights. It keeps my consultant happy and I feel safer, otherwise, I'm wondering, 'what if within the error in the glucose testing strip, I'm actually really low?'I just checked my freestyle.
