Morning tests too high

Hi, just wanting a bit of advice please. My bloods were 6.8 last night but first thing this morning they are 10.4. I'm due a knee replacement so and trying to get this under control. Any suggestions please?
 
Try searching for Dawn Phenomenon and Foot to the floor in the forum, there'll be lots of info for you to read through but the short version is that your liver thinks it's being helpful by pushing loads of glucose into your system to get you going for the day. This is (for many) the last reading to come down

Are you type 1 or 2 ?
Do you have a freestyle libre?
What medication are you on?

There are several options to help with this but they depend on the above.
