Assumed you needed to change the lancet every time as they seem to come in bigger packs than the testing strips!
All these little nuggets of information help. The low carb info I found really useful. Made what I thought was a lovely healthy vegetarian chilli last week using low GI foods (I've a son who doesn't eat meat so we're experimenting with various options) and served it with a small portion of basmati rice - worked out afterwards the meal contained about 88g of carb. Also love fruit so the carb content of these has been a real eye-opener.
Reading labels avidly now hoping to avoid similar mistakes. At least if you have the information you can choose whether you want to use it. I'd certainly never heard that sugar levels could affect your sight even if you're not diabetic.
