Hi,
I have been diabetic for 35yrs and am very overweight, i have tried several diets and nothing has worked. I work days and nights so I find i eat things i shouldn't. My GP and Diabetic team advise against thins drug. I really would like to know if anyone is on this injection and is it just checking bloods and insulin? i am currently on the Omni pod and Libre sensor.

Hi @LynseyD and welcome to the forums.
You might find this thread interesting

I'd be very hesitant to take a drug that both my GP and diabetic team recommended against, but you could ask them why they do so.

Hi I am type 1 and on Omnipod and Dexcom, which has greatly improved my glucose levels. I have also gained a lot of weight even though I exercise a lot and don’t eat a great deal. I did research and decided to buy privately mounjaro, I asked lots of companies but couldn’t find anyone that would sell it to me, being type 1, but I did find one and have been on it a month and have lost a couple of kgs, yes my sugars went low on a few occasions but with my closed loop system it helped me a lot.

Hello. I am on Mounjaro and it is incredible how it has brought down my sugar levels. Give it a go and if you don’t suit it come off it. Good luck.
