Mounjaro pen needle size

So as the pen didn’t come with needles and the Gp didn’t prescribe any I had to buy a box from the pharmacy and they only had 5mm ones. I’ve noticed that most people use 4mm .. before I start does anyone use 5mm ones is there a big difference in terms of how much it hurts etc

I'm not on Mounjaro but on insulin, those pens use the same needles though.
I've used anything from 4 to 8 mm and I don't really care which needle length I use, they all work fine.
I'm on 5 mm currently because I'm one of those too lazy to lift up my shirt to inject (no, definitely not recommended, don't do as I do) and I thought to get the extra mm to account for the fabric.

Injecting as a rule doesn't hurt, no matter the needle length. But occasionally I apparently hit a sensitive spot. If I do I try a different spot.

Good luck, I hope the Mounjaro will work well for you!

Personally I wouldn’t think there would be much difference , saying that having diabetes 45 years when needles were like darts 4/ 5 mm I don’t feel anything , and yes I’ve done through the shirt, trousers (when I wear them) thing too but as said not recommended but needs must at times ,
