Mounjaro type 2 and weightlioss

Hi,

I was taking Forxiga for my T2 my gp and changed it to the mounjaro injection to help with T2 but also weight loss.
Has anyone managed to lose weight with this?
The leaflet says it is uncommon to lose weight with type 2

Hi Nikki, I have been put on Mounjaro. I was paying privately Ozempic and Wygovy initially. I started in January, my cholesterol was 8.1 and diabetes type 2, 144. At the end April, cholesterol went down to 3.5 and diabetes to 43. I was 13 stone at the beginning of the year this year, and now I’m 9 stone. The NHS diabetic nurse placed me on mounjaro for the past couple of months, I’m on 5mg and still working with no food noise.

I've now completed one month on Mounjaro after the Trulicity dried up.
I have definitely lost weight on trulicity, and I seem to be losing more with starting the new jab. Not so much weight but definitely inches. I make a lot of my clothes and last year made several dresses and tops. Because i make them they are pretty much my shape. I have had to take them all in this year by a couple of inches.
