Hello
I am moving to Cyprus (pathos) in May 2015 from the UK. I have a 12 year old daughter who has type 1 diabetes. She has had it for 2 years now. Is there any way that she will be able to get insulin free out there? or can she still get if for free in the UK even though she lives in Cyprus. I am finding it hard to believe that as a european union country she is not entitled to free insulin. Also, does anyone know of any insurance companies who would give her private medical cover.
Thanking you in advance. By the way, I have already called the Ministry of Health in Cyprus, only to be told that she is not entitled to free insulin etc.
