Much appreciation of help and support

Hi everyone

With support:
(mainly from this forum)-
I have established new **** good friends;
I have had support beyonf anything else that I have ever had from close friends and family;
**** good advice;
**** good knowledge and experience from people that live with diabetes 24/7/365.

It is just a huge appreciation from me for the help and assistance I have had from everybody, and especially from the strangers that I have never met, that I would now include as very good friends.

There are ups and downs with members and forum monitors etc....BUT these have added to my experiences and thinking....

I really want peole, especially new members, and persons that are just 'browsing'' that I believe that this forum has helped me enormously, and my family too, who also have to live with 'BIG D'. Most of all, from this forum I think I have appreciated other person lifestyles and problems, and have thought on so many occasions 'Goodness, I thought I was the only person going through this'...and I'm not........

Big 'D' and this forum has given me great friends, whom I really appreciate, and to know that I am not alone in the way I think and act...

So thanks...as much as I wish there was an immediate cure for 'D', without my 'D' and this forum I would not have gained so much in my life....

Mushy, and soppy I know...but real heartfelt thanks to all that enter this website.....

I too have had great help from this forum and appreciate that everyone on this forum understands what I live with day to day. It's a shame that there's still as much ignorance about diabetes & what it means for us living with it, not only with the lay-person but sometimes with the medical profession too. I don't think that's improved in the 22 yrs I've had it, but least on this forum we can vent & know there are others feeling just like we do.
I'm hugely greatful for the support I've had from some really good people on this forum, & good friends I've made.
Long may the forum continue!!

This site has just given me so much support....from DVLA worries, through to pre pump questions, ongoing pump questions, fibromyalgia and just so much....it is great to give a little back, but compared to what I have gained it is peanuts in comparison.

I have never been to any other site - besides Amazon!!!! -(which involves spending money!!!!)
that offers so much-and for now't-compared to what Amazon costs in £'ssss!!!! Brilliant...
