Can you hold a normal conversation with someone when you are doing a bloodtest, dialling your dose(s) on your pen(s), recording your (incredibly interesting) data meanwhile?
I can't!
If I try, I end up wasting a teststrip because the meter shuts itself off. (I know I can keep the meter alive by clicking, but that's an added distraction.) I'm a woman and I know I should be able to multi-task!
So how shall I ignore interruptions? What do you do?
Do you try to multi-task? Do a bloodtest while playing the piano, making scrambled egg, sending a text ...?

Don't have any trouble holding a conversation when bg testing, but it takes me all day to write a text message..........hence why I'd rather ring the person :(

Like noblehead, I can have a chat and do but I cant play the piano so it doesn't matter, don't text, need both hands when cooking so maybe is the best answer

Yes also a man .. No mult tasking is not a word I recognised ..
The wife can edit her magazine .. Cook dinner .. Vax the carpet feed the dogs and hold a intellectual conversation with an unknown to me person on her mobile all at the same time .. O and be able to tell me what I was just watching on the TV ... All at the same time ..

Haha in my house I have no choice but multitask while BG testing 2 very active kids under 3 make testing an work of art. If they're not attempting to kill each other their pulling my legs this way and that shouting mum at 1000 decibels trying to show me something. I won't lie it has led to a fair few wasted strips and a couple of badly times hypos but hey ho what can you do? Lol

Exactly! They couldn't use me on a training video for how to do blood tests!
