Poor grammar, bullying and drunks.
I couldn't possibly say if this is down to age, diet or an as yet unknown reason but what I can say is that the 'sitting on my bones' symptom was the first thing I noticed before the final diagnosis of sciatica.
A trip to the GP who will put you through a couple of physical tests (leg raising etc) is a must in any case.

Hope you can resolve this, best of luck.

What is your body shape like? I've always had big boobs and stomach, but no butt at all - completely flat. I've always thought I could use a fat transfer from my gut to my butt :D

When I got to my lightest (around 58kg), I had similar issues - my butt was always sore because there was literally no padding left. I had to sit on cushions. That's got better since I've gained back some weight.

I'd also heard that diabetes is essentially a "wasting" disease. If you're losing both muscle and fat and you have little padding in the area, that could also be an issue. I'm a great believer in sufficient protein to protect against muscle loss. Maybe try increasing your protein intake.

Lean muscle loss can happen rather quickly especially as we age. The only effective way to prevent that is to up the proteins and regular exercise, eg do deep squats to rebuild the thigh muscles.

Hi Pam, research inclined bed therapy, it has been shown to improve muscle density. It involves propping the head end of your bed on blocks to give a five degree angle with the head end of your bed higher than foot end. Hope this is of use to you.

Kind regards

Andrew

It's spending all night hanging on to the head board that does it!

If you google it, inclined bed therapy appears to be Andrew's specialist subject.

The best kind of exercises for fat misfortune? 'Those you can reliably focus on,' Vine says. 'Regardless of whether that is perspiring it out each day or two or three times each week, it's increasingly vital to concentrate on the nature of your exercises over muscle and fat loss more details visit this site fatlosspot(dot)com.
