began adf (alternate day fasting) yesterday
so today is my first eating day
im doing adf with 0 calories on the fasting day
except for coffee cream if i go out with others
for coffee
so far im feeling well
i was doing Omad for awhile
and liked it but id like
to try adf
when i first considered Omad
i also looked at adf and chose Omad
now id like to try ADF
i use insulin so im being sure to measure
my bs
if i can i will list my food here
on the eating days
and maybe my bs
onward i go---
i ate salad and soup
my bs reading will be posted shortly
im not able to do this for weight loss reasons at this time
as i'm medically not permitted any exercise for up to
a few months from now
but i understand there are other health benefits

my bs numbers are ranging from 4.4 to 7
4.4 being my lowest
so no hypos
i found that my hungriest time is about 8 hours
before its time to eat
but other than that no more hunger than normal
i did start to get confused on what was the eating day
so i had to make a change
and that was to eat on even numbered days
so far its alot simpler
just get up in the morning check the date
and eat or not eat
in first day of a 3 day fast
really hoping to do it
ive been reading up on
when your hunger goes away
so id like to see
the places i read online say
3 days
its going to be hard
as im always very ravenous
purpose--
to see how long it takes
and
to see if it comes back less
or will it be better
than the constant hunger
and can i then eat less
without extreme hunger
i have done a 5 day fast (just water)
but this was long before being diabetic
with the meds
