I am fat and I was forced to go on an Atkins diet (about 8 years ago) for a rare form of sugar problem. My (stupid?) doctor noted that I lost weight for about 1 year and then stopped. I noted that I am conpulsive and became something of an exercise freak. My body rebelled and I became something of a sloth, I began to take many naps, and I was pushed into cutting my exercise so I gained a few pounds and then stabalized. Am I alone?
