My DD's sugars

Hi,

Just been to diabetic clinic with my 3 year old. Her long-range blood sugars (is that the HBA1C thing?) was 8.4 today, down from 9.something last time. Is that OK?

She was diagnosed 6 months ago and it's hard work keeping her under control but the consultant seems happy with how we're going. She has Mixtard30 in the morning and Lantus at bedtime (plus Novorapid at teatime if her blood sugar is over 12, which isn't very often).

thanks, Layla x
