People that can't listen to other people's opinions.
People that can't say sorry.
Have others noticed a difference sometimes in values between pack info and my fitness pal.
I just scanned ribs.. Difference 3 g of carb.
Last week m&s maroni cheese eith leek bake from m&s... Huge difference..
Cream.. No calcium mentioned on myfitnesspal...

Which packaging to believe?

Much depends on which country the submitter lives in too as imported/exported products vary so much. Kellogs cereals for example have more sugar added for US consumption.

Most folk don't bother entering the vitamins, calcium, potassium etc and many don't enter anything other than calories. Some are cooked weights, some are raw, but they don't bother saying which. I use my own calculations, which can be difficult for fresh stuff.

You can submit corrections somewhere. I did it once but don't know what happens as there was no feedback. I tend not to eat stuff out of packets these days so CBA ;)

Looking at the pot of Sainsbury's double cream in my fridge, there is no mention of calcium on it's nutritional info panel - so little wonder that people are not adding this info to MFPs database

I know.. No calcium listed on my pot of cream in my fridge either. Yet, calcium and D3 are so relevent....to diabetics and non...

I don't understand it.. I actually had to google to find out what calcium there is in milk, cream etc...

My leek n cheese (very, ver rare for me) pasta bake quick pick me up from M&S was totally different name even- and it didnt tell me it was a similar product.. The carbs were vastly different...and the rest of ingredients. Thank goodness it was a one off at the end of a long day of boring meetings!! Never to have again, although was a yummy one off-lol!

So, it looks like carbs and cals are okish to follow on myfitnesspal, but calcium isn't??

I wouldn't trust MFP for vitamins and minerals.

Luckily I am prescribed Calcium D3 tablets for my osteoporosis, so that's me sorted ;)

I google everything for vitamins etc. Some of the entries that do include vitamins on myfitnesspal put the weight down rather than the percentage!

Maybe it's just as well that they don't list the calcium in dairy, because the calcium in dairy is not very bioavailable. So the amount stated on the packet would exaggerate how much calcium you would absorb from eating / drinking it.
