My Foot Is Swollen

My left foot became swollen three weeks ago and hasn't gone down. I didn't injure my foot or my leg.

I was wondering if this might be something to do with my diabetes (diagnosed type 1 three months ago), or if it's unrelated.

Your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
