people who have no manners
apart from the wonderful people who post on this forum with their inspirational words i have another inspirational person in my life who is my neighbour. A young lady of 92 years of age who lives on her own and does everything for herself. she is also diabetic and gives me many tips on how to cope with diabetes, she has a zest for life and always has a spring in her step. my lovely neighbour puts me to shame sometimes, she divulged to me today that she also has a tot of whiskey every night which made me laugh bless her. I admire her so much and hope that i can live as long as she has and keep myself as fit as her dispite the diabetes. just wanted to share this with you x starlight :D

That story sure does give me hope after reading some of the more depressing things about shortened life expectancy,etc
Shame she can't join and post her tips on here!! :thumbup: :thumbup:
 
hi there, my neighbour is type two, has been since she was in her thirties. thats 60 yrs of her life and she is still going strong x starlight :D
