Day 2. As the first day went so well and I didn't cat nap during the day I was in bed by 11.30 which is almost unheard of for me. I left Archie in the front room and put a big dark red duvet cover over the cage and crashed in my bed. Also a bit of a rarity as I usually crash on the sofa. Woke up at 7.30 went in the front room and as I didn't hear anything I assumed he was still asleep. I said "Morning Archie" before I took the cover off as I didn't want to freak him out. He is extremely vocal and very funny first thing in the morning. I changed his water, put Jungle sounds on Spotify which he loves and I have it on on my lappy and then I can watch Saturday Kitchen at the same time and it doesn't disturb me in the slightest. He got through 3 toilet roll middles yesterday and I have just hung a rice cake in his cage as I spoke to his owner this morning and she said he also likes ricecakes. I will attempt to get him out on Monday when his Java tree comes. Then just hope he doesn't eat all my lovely plants or trash my red velvet curtains as he did as his last owners. As long as I supply a plentiful amount of cardboard and don't let him get bored we should be OK. So it's all going well so far. I have again tried to upload some pics and it says the file is invalid... I will put them on Photobucket and put a link to the page I thing.
