Hi all;

I asked for my blood test results and found in RED ALT 194 U/L i asked my DN about it and she said it was High and will discuss with DR

My GP even does this; this is why i ask for a copy and raise my concerns. Now im not sure what to do i stopped eating sweets and fruits and it is highest it's ever been.

I am now waiting for what dr will say.

Always request a copy of your blood results.

I found that cutting out diet drinks as well as sugary ones and fruit juices, and limiting fruit in my diet to a few berries helped bring my ALT count down quite quickly and easily. I also took a supplement called lipotropic factors.

I appreciate your message. I will look into that supplements: its been high for a few years now; need to make changes

Husband also has slightly abnormal liver results so I am suggesting cutting back on fructose (sugar essentially) and more cruciferous veg. He isn't diabetic but is overweight with family history of diabetes and heart disease hence concern.
The liver seems to carry on working well right until it doesn't so if I were you I'd ask for an ultrasound to look at your liver and see if it is excessively fatty. Even so the solution is dietary.
