Madusmacus - didn't you have all manner of problems with every finger prick meter under the sun a short while back? If that was you, you're not having much good fortune.went down to 2.0 mmol so Abbot are sending me a replacement by Wednesday
No hassle once I read all the errors to them in the system event log
useful that log :¬) proves its broken
I will put my last one on before bed and I wont start iit up till the morning like you all suggested
Thanks have a nice evening :¬)

I'm surprised they replaced it so quick, they made me wait 3 days
This sounds more like dawn phenomenon. After being asleep, your liver dumps glucose into your system to fuel you. People find it occurs at different times - some get it when the alarm wakes them up, others get it at a consistent time daily regardless.Since using the Freestyle Libre I have seen that If I am horizontal (Resting I guess) my BS are low - On becoming vertical (getting up having a shave etc.) my BS rise by as much as 2.0 mmol
this seems to be backed up by blood glucose tests too
Might all be more smoke and mirrors but now I can see A reason for my waking High BS readings I got before
Glad I can see now im not getting a BS rise whilst asleep (according to sensor)

I am the same - I should probably stay in bed all dayYes it does but I tested this :¬)
I stayed lying down after waking watched some tv for 1-2 hours (lazy easter) and..
As soon as I got up and washed, shaved made a cuppa tea...
ONLY then do I get a rise - not at all during sleep
very strange :¬) but kind of reassuring
I am also doubting if I am diabetic at all now after 16 months of LCHF and loosing 15Kilos
But that's for my Doctor and me to argue about :¬)
Seems I have not gone over 7.4 MMOL or under 3.9 MMOL in the last 12 days of the sensor useage

I know its not for everyone and I have stalled with weight loss now but interesting how it got under control ish :¬)
Mine did something broadly similar. I didn't include the Newcastle link in my last post. There's plenty of reading here: http://www.ncl.ac.uk/magres/research/diabetes/reversal.htm
Interesting thing I just saw...
I had highish readings all day and I though maybe its not working as its on last day of sensor so I had 2 jelly babies
I don't recommend doing that but its my body and its my test - now the funny thing
I got the usual rises in recorded glucose followed by the dip but it didn't stop going down
Its like the babies reset my bodies high readings and now im back to normal and its getting lower
Strange

It could be a myriad of other reasons but still its funny
