My readings, what does it mean

hello.

I am on metformine 500 twice a day. I have been having good readings for some time now. Below 87 fasting and below 115, 2 hours after food. My last HBC1A was 4.6. I feel like I could reduce my medication. Please advice

Does your GP agree? That's who makes the call (along with your comments when you consult) but not us. FWIW, I was in a very similar position to yours and I cut them out completely after 6 months as long as I met my targets.

If you want to reduce your medication discuss it with your Dr and get an Hb test done in 3 months time to see if there has been any impact on your BS.
