My Type 1 Diabetes Awareness Animation

As some of you may have seen by now. I was in the last year of college on a Visual Effects & Motion Graphics Course. My Final Project was to include a topic very close to home. So for my final piece I made a Type 1 Diabetes Awareness Film.


I hope to make more films surronding the disease to help educate the public and dispell the myths surronding it.

Thanks :), To be honest I have never thought of that. Whilst myself I have never had what I would say diagnosed depression, I do know what it feels like to have a diabetic burnout. I think that is a really good idea, I'll look into!

No probs jake if it helps I can point you to some resources? I think your videos could be good for mental health generally especially the more hard to reach client groups like men sorry to say
 
You've done an awesome job with the video! Couldn't help but notice the backdrop looks like the QMC diabetes unit Wish I could do something like this!

Yeah, sure that would be very helpful, thanks. I agree, mental health does get overlooked and for those whom suffer can feel isolated.

Thanks :), hahaha yep correct that is the QMC, C Floor South, I even got some leftlets from there while I was at it. I orignally thought the Diabetes ward was on D floor but apparently not lol.
