I've just been advised by my diabetic nurse about this service whereby you can register with the NHS and you can access all your blood test information on line. Sounds good. Has anyone else used it?

I think there is a topic about it on here somewhere, having read some of their horrendous dietary advice, I can't say I'd bother, but each to their own. You might find it useful what the purpose you mentioned.

Hopefully I will be able to see my HbA1c, cholesterol readings, liver function etc without having to visit my GP. Once I've tried it out, I'll have a better idea.

Any idea how? The site suggests it's Scotland only?

I use the service. I think it is handy to be able to access my results before I visit the nurse for my annual review. I don't personally agree with the lifestyle advice given on the site, but it is good for the results and for tracking progress.

Funnily enough, I asked at the surgery about this today. Currently I can see my inoculations but nothing else. On medication "no plans". On blood test results "we didn't sign up for that". But they do now send the prescriptions to your chemist electronically if you wish - no thanks after the problems my wife has had with that.
As far as I can see, each surgery is doing their own thing. My wife's surgery don't even do repeat prescriptions online.
