You may have already heard: Ypsomed/mylife Diabetescare has announced that it will be discontinuing the mylife app, the mylife software, and the mylife Cloud by the end of December 2026.
As a replacement, they recommend switching to mylife Loop (CamAPS FX)—but for many of us, that’s simply not an option we want. I want to manage my insulin pump therapy myself. Hi @TaylorScotland , could you email the app producers and ask them to suggest an alternative for non pump users?
(Then share here for others.)
Before I was on a pump I used to do the calculations in my head (but as I became diabetic in pre-calculator days and have always been good at maths, it never occurred to me to use an app or calculator). Now I admit I use the app on my pump, but my basic maths skills are still a check to ensure that I haven't entered something wrong which might give me an outrageous dose.

It was pointed out to me some years ago that i have an analytical mind.....
I laughed it off but the friend of mine who pointed it out was also a type 1.
We both have a libre and 100 years experience between us and we both work everything out for ourselves.
I do not want to appear smug as i sometimes get it right and sometimes wrong and have to eat more or go for a walk accordingly.
