Been using this for a couple of months now and recently I’ve had idd Hba1c predictions. When I switch it on it might say 41.6 but when I put in (what I consider to be higher readings than I’d like) it goes down to 37.7 (for example). Anyone else has this as its always a bit of a shock when it switches it on but not sure which reading to believe. I should add that I know it’s just a guide and not to be relied upon but odd it switch when I add high readings. Many thanks x

How often do you enter readings?

It depends on the day really. Some days if I’ve eaten new things then 6 times a day. On holiday 2-3 times a day. Just strange how I can switch it off showing 37 and next time when I switch it I’m shows 41!

I agree with Tipetoo, something is wrong. I’ve never had MySugr change by such a large amount just by the addition of one reading. I have only ever had it change by 0.1 at a time.
Ok I just added a reading of 49, the highest it would let me input and it raised my estimated HbA1c by 0.5!
(I deleted it straight away! :joyful:)

Uninstalling may be the only way, but would this lose the OP's data?
Most probably, but as I said it could be corrupted.

I don’t claim to understand this completely but I have MySugr in my iPhone and iPad and when ever I input a reading on one the data updates on the other device automatically. Does that mean it’s stored in a cloud somewhere, so the OP may not lose their data if they delete the app then reinstall and log back in?

It's along time ago since I used it, it might be stored in the cloud, though if the data is corrupted locally so will the data in the cloud.

Google Calendar got corrupted on my main computer, and I had problems getting a clean copy back from the Google cloud.

Thanks everyone. I really don’t want to lose my data so will stick with it until my next Hba1c at the end of next month. I want to see how accurate it is ..... or not!
I’ll delete and reinstall then. X

Don't forget the data will be in the memory of your meter and though it would be a long a laborious process you could reenter it into the app after reinstalling.

I thought that you made an account with MySugr and you could connect and upload all the data?

Sure I did that when I got a new phone and had to reinstall all the apps, I am sure I connected and it down loaded all the data I had uploaded back to the new phone.

Hi there!!
I'm Sarah and I work for the mySugr Customer Support team! We'd love to look into this for you! Can you please send us an email? It would be great if you can send it from within the app so we also receive the information on what type of device you are using. Just open the app, then at the top left, tap the 3 lines to open the side menu. Now, tap on Support & Feedback. Down at the bottom of this, tap the green "Support & Feedback" button. This allows you to send a message from within the app itself.

Or, you can email us directly at [email protected] (be sure to NOT include an "a" in sugr) and we'll ask a few questions, and then see about escalating it to the developer team for help!
