Naked Barley Flakes

Just wondered if anyone has tried naked barley flakes? I came across some info on how it can lower blood sugar and help with other things like feeling less hungry. Would be interested if this did work or not.
 
It’s a carb, highly likely to raise your BS and their claims look entirely wrong to me.
The only way to find out is to eat and test.
 
73g of carb/100 gs its meant to be good but at those level i dont see it lowering bg. i could be wrong and i probably am.
 
There are various claims for oats helping blood glucose and helping fill you up.
However most T2 people find they cannot cope with them.

IMHO anything called "Naked Barley" has had each flake individually brushed with angels' tears and this is likely to be reflected in the price.:angelic:

Give them a try by all means but prepare to be disappointed.

Have you tried porrige oats and tested afterwards?
 
barley is barley. unless your stripping the husk then why pay loads for a dead cheap product.
