If you are, or know of a healthcare professional achieving genuine outcomes in diabetes, enter QiC Diabetes 2013 - an awards programme to recognise and share good practice in diabetes care, education and management.

The categories include the People's Award, supported by Diabetes UK, which aims to reward someone who has made a real difference to the lives of people with diabetes and goes beyond the call of duty with regards to what is required in their day job. Get voting for that special someone!

It's a shame it can only go to someone who gets paid to do their job. What about individuals who make a difference, that don't get paid for doing so?
But no one takes this into consideration.
