The latest Tesco advert appears to have decided which "horse" it would like to back:
I have been buying my spring water and fuel from Tesco, and will now will switch to Morrisons, until Tesco revert to a neutral stance. The most successful UK supermarket chain saying effectively, go plant based, is extremely powerful propaganda. In respect of the "letter" that some members wish to send to effect potential changes, I would suggest that "we" (those who agree of course) let the NFU know that we rely on their members animal food, and that they can use our experience to prove the benefits, perhaps in an advert of their own (the Tesco advert has been all over the radio stations and TV).
