Type 2 Nausea

Hi. I am Type 2 and have recently started suffering with nausea. I take Metformin and also Statins. I am having some shoulder pain (not severe, more of an ache really). Does anyone else out there suffer the same symptoms? I think they are related to the side effects? Just would like to hear your thoughts / comments. Thanks.

How long have you been on the metformin? I 'd certainly be suspicious if symptoms coincided with a new medication, and I know metformin doesn't agree with everyone. (Though there is a "slow release" version which can be tried of the normal one isn't tolerated.)

As regards the shoulder, it could be lots of things, not necessarily diabetic related, though "frozen shoulder" is more common in diabetics and is not fun while it lasts.

In your position, I'd have a chat with my GP.
