Any help appreciated .. Been on insulin since October novo rapid and lantus solostar night time also metformin 500 mg three times a day my problem is that my bs is still in double figures I take novo 10 units 3 times and lantus 16 units bedtime the high sugars constantly are worrying but if it drops to around 7 which is rare I feel terrible HELP :(

If your body is used to running with high BG levels, a drop to 7 can cause hypo like symptoms. You need to make any changes gradually. I would keep a food diary and insulin diary for a few days and email your DSN. It could mean your ratios have changed and you need slightly more insulin.
