Need help, kick up the *** or something. Potted history

trying a different approach.
todays menu
tea, muesli with semiskimmed milk, almonds. tea. cals 245, carb 30.
milk for day 131 cals 13 carbs
lunch, cheese on toast with chutney, extra portion of cheese, pear Cals 399, carbs 35
snack, small bar chocolate. Dont always snack, need an alternative??? (but not nuts or cheese) Cals 233, carb 16
dinner, salmon, potato, roasted veg onions, peppers, courgette, potato ( only 2 tiny pieces ) cals 399, carbs 25
now having breakfast yoghurt as dessert. with prunes and honey. Cals 185, carbs 20
totals for the day cals 1592, carbs 139.
looks like I overdid carbs and still not enough calories.
better trot up and down stairs a few times

He seemed more helpful today, perhaps he had a bad day previously. It was early morning appointment so few patients, more time. He listened about the IBS, checked my weight, yes 4kg down and sent me to the nurse for HbA1c and cholesterol. Results probably next week.
Thank you and yes, am feeling quite a lot better today, worked hard on the menu, and think I got it about right. Posted in what did you eat today? Feeling pleased with myself, perhaps I have finally found the way forward. Certainly didnt expect it to be cereal and toast for breakfast, with pudding every day as well !!

Have to admit that am shocked at the amount of cheese you can eat. Please dont take that as critisism. Yes additional calories, but definitely would not work for me. Yesterday had full fat 33% cheese on toast, one slice, with an extra portion 30g cheese, afterwards was aware of an uncomfortable stomach for several hours. Lower fat cheeses seem to be tolerated better. Today had three 5% cheese slices as a snack, 198 calories, no problem. Aiming for 100-120 carbs a day.
Am glad you found your way off the weight loss slide, am having to take a different route.
 
Have upped the intake of oily fish, so far no ill effects. Thank you your suggestion.
