well if you read on the labels of the foods you buy, there it is written how many grams of carbs are in 100grams of this specific kind of food.
If you are not able to eye-measure and se how big a part of the food you are eating, like half a liter of milk equals 500grams of milk(almost) then you see how much carb is in 100 grams of milk and add that 5 times ...
if you cant do that you have to use a kitchen-weight to find out how much a certain kind of food weigh.
If you are smart you use the same bowl like when you eat yoghurt and alike other foods, then over time you will know about how much is in you usual bowl and don´t have to weigh every time you take somthing to eat.
if nothing is written on your kind of food, you will be able to find the informations on the web ; like on this page :
yoghurt for instance .

I myself have n iPhone and use an APP called "lifesum" in which I can write in all my foods and it tells how much is in each kind of foods, and the ones it lacks one can scan in from the bar code on the foods as well.

If I eat 300 grams of low fat yoghurt :
http://www.nutrientfacts.com/foodfa...lier=100&units=Grams&UpdateNutritionLabel=yes
it will be 3 times 8 grams of carbs which is in total 24 grams of carbs...and that is a lot if I need to be under 100 grams day....
