NEED HELP !!!!!

Hi folks, i've two questions to ask but thy're as far apart as they could be but it'll save me doing two topics.

1) Even though i change and rotate my injection sites regularly i appear to be getting rather large, hard lumps both on my legs and my stomach and they are "very painful." I also seem to bleed for ever no matter where i inject. I'm not overly worried it's just as i said it hurts and is very sore :( :( . I rang my GP and he said "that's what happens when you're on insulin injections." (great help eh :o ) Any advice ?

2) I've been reading the threads on diet and there are some great ideas which i have nicked and have found to be very nice indeed. The problem i have is that there doesn't seem to be any things for breakfast or lunch which can be made quickly. I am up at 5.45 am every morning and there's no way i fancy doing bacon and eggs at that time and also some ideas for lunch which i can take to work. Apoogies if this thread is in the wrong place but i really could do with any ideas from any of you in the same position and what you have done to rectify it. :)

Thanking you in anticipation of your replies !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: NEDD HELP !!!!!

Hello

Only thing I can say regarding the lumps, is that it might be due to levemir as the cause, so try to use the side of your backside to see that helps and use your arms for the novorapid. If you still get problems try splitting your levemir or asking to change to lantus?

Breakfast, Ican understand you not wanting to cook bacon and eggs at 5.30am so just have one slice of toast with some butter on it

Thanks diabetic skater & ihs. i'll try the breakfast thing but i could still do with some quick & easy ideas for lunch. The size of the needle i use is Novofine 0.3 x 8mm. How do you inject in your arms if you have to get hold of a pinch of skin like i've been told to do so ? :?
